Unitised curtain walling is a method of fabricating complete glazed clad frames in a controlled environment in the factory, instead of using the conventional method of erecting individual ‘stick’ components on site.
The completed unitised elements, typically 1.5 metres by storey
height are delivered direct to the workplace and installed as one. The glass can be bonded to the frame using structural silicone, although more traditional beaded systems are also offered. |
